yeah, i know. it's been a while. it's just that so much has happened recently. all the holidays are one thing, but then suddenly having one of your friends as a future roommate...wow. my dear friend elise needed a roomie...stat. i needed one as well, more into the future...lol! this was all a bit sudden for me, but i won't let my friend down. this is going to be rather exciting! a great place for the dorky to hang out!
the apartment is chosen, the lease is signed, and now we wait for the place to be vacated. yippee!
i'm kinda sick at this moment. i was just getting over a cold i had before, and now my throat is sore...again. i'm tired...again.

been away
i've been gone to nevada, for all those who didn't know. my uncle is very sick, and i went to see him for one last time. the trip itself was maddening...nearly 2000 miles each way. in a car. bleah. but...it was worth it. my poor uncle...

yesterday i went with my friends liz and elise to lost world of wonders, a comic/anime shop in milwaukee. there, i found an auron figurine...ahhh!
it makes me so happy to see auron standing around now...lol. yes, i am a fangirl. i also picked up a figurine of cloud from the kh set. it's niiiice.
next door to the shop is a place called american science and surplus. they sold sea monkeys! so, guess what i got? sea monkeys rock.

my ps3...
...brings all the boys to the yard!
i really adore my ps3. it looks so sharp, and is so full of goodies. unless it's tweaked, it will never replace a computer, but it does come sorta close. i can't wait to get a game or a movie for it! the hd looks real nice on there. ahhhhh!

just a moment ago, i thought i actually had a poem in me. guess not. what i need is a story. one of the two i'd love to write. a laptop would help. seriously. and...to stop being lazy. that would be an enormous help. i just need to make certain that i'm not stealing someone's idea about the one story i want to write. i could go google around, just to be sure.

i actually fixed the bugs that plagued my cutenews setup, so now i can have more than one news item posted without my site going wonky. yay!
other than that, i can't believe i finished all of the new harry potter book already. i should have made it last the weekend, but i just couldn't! it was worth it. that book was daaamn good! i admit when i closed the book, i bawled like a baby. i mean, it's all over now.

tomorrow, at 12:01 am, the last harry potter book releases. i will be at work helping out with the sale, and picking up a copy for myself.
it's sort of sad that there will be no more to look forward to. it's not like when i've polished off the other books in a day then waited for the next one to arrive. there will be no others.
anyway, happy book release to all of you hp fanatics like myself! maybe we can get group rates on therapy...lol!
